Christian Medical Outreach Lebanon
The fourth of August two thousand and twenty. It is a sunny evening in Beirut during “the golden hour”. The sun starts to go down. People relax and enjoy their social life after a long, hot day at work. It is the first day of going out after five days of lock down, due to the increased Covid-19 spread. People leave their homes, do important businesses and thereafter will go back to another lock down for 5 days. And this day, this evening, is a turning point in every Lebanese life. Coincidence or not, but the third biggest explosion in a mankind happened exactly on this day and this time in Lebanon. More than 300,000 people are now injured and desperate, without food, without jobs, without homes, without offices.
Our Team
We are an international enthusiastic team of volunteering doctors, who are willing to help the people in need in Lebanon.
Lebanon Relief Project
In collaboration with the local churches, we create packages of basic hygiene supplies and food as well as "kids box" for one month. The packages are enough for one month per family and are directly distributed to the families by our local partners. One package costs 40 euro. How many families will you serve?
